Job Description
Raytheon is seeking a skilled RF Engineer to lead RF architecture and troubleshooting activities within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization. This role involves hands-on integration and calibration of RF systems, contributing to the development of advanced defense technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead RF architecture trades and design activities for developmental programs
Perform RF system calibration activities within HWIL facilities
Lead RF troubleshooting and failure investigation activities
Assist in generating requirements, statements of work, and verification plans
Collaborate in a team environment supporting system development and sustainment
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Experience with RF electronics design and/or RF antennas
Active and transferable US government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of calibration/characterization of RF signal generation systems
Strong organization, coordination, planning, and communication skills
Existing Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) clearance
Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with programming languages such as Java, C, C++, or similar
Experience troubleshooting with test equipment
