Job Description
Join the ASPCA as a Lead Veterinarian, where you will lead a dedicated team in providing compassionate veterinary care to underserved communities. You will oversee high-quality medical practices while nurturing the professional growth of your team, making a significant impact on animal welfare.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s veterinary clinics
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques and medical protocols
Support a positive work culture and foster teamwork
Conduct annual performance reviews and deliver coaching
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years of veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Excellent work attendance record
Fear Free® Shelter certification (within 60 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management experience
