Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles
Conduct road tests to diagnose problems
Repair major components such as engines, transmissions, and differentials
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Use tools and technologies for vehicle diagnostics
Learn new skills through training programs
Complete other assigned projects and tasks
Required Qualifications
6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
Ability to solve problems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Basic computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components
ASE Certification
608/609 certifications
