Job Description
Join E-Therapy as a Remote Speech Language Pathologist and make a difference in the lives of K-12 students. You will provide essential speech and language therapy services, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with educators to empower students in overcoming communication challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities
Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs
Provide direct therapy services to students targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team
Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions
Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information
Participate in IEP meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting
Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in teletherapy or online counseling
Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology
