Springfield, MA Nursing Job Details

• Location: Springfield, MA 01199 – Explore Western Massachusetts nursing jobs in a city known for its rich history, beautiful parks, and vibrant arts scene.
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Start Date: September 22, 2025
• End Date: December 22, 2025
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Unit: Medical Surgical Telemetry (includes 4 Intermediate Care/IMC beds)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,970 - $2,110

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Massachusetts nursing license preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Ability to work night shifts and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork skills

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical surgical telemetry setting
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings and changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform nursing assessments, and document patient progress
• Support post-operative care for general surgeries, orthopedics (total hip and knee replacements), plastics (skin grafts/flaps), and other adult medical conditions
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered environment
