Join Christus Health as a Speech Pathologist where you will provide critical assessment and therapy for patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role offers the opportunity to supervise and mentor students and contribute to departmental program development.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Maintain quality documentation regarding patient status
Participate in patient care and family conferences
Counsel families regarding patient evaluation and treatment
Supervise Speech Pathology students and volunteers
Assist in supervision of Rehab Techs
Participate in departmental meetings and performance improvement activities
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
1.5 years full-time clinical experience
State licensure as a Speech Pathologist
Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with patient assessment and treatment planning
