Job Details:

• Shift: Nights | 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  Occasional 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM shifts if needed
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Weekend Coverage: Up to every other weekend & holiday coverage as needed
• Call: None
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Unit Size: 58 beds | ~180 daily visits
• Float: May float between campuses

Unit Overview:

Busy Emergency Department caring for all ages (neonates to geriatrics) . Special care populations include:

• Cancer
• Sepsis
• Behavioral health
• Medical emergencies

The hospital is a STEMI & Stroke Certified Facility with specialties in cath lab, women’s health, and stroke care .

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years acute care RN (first-time travelers welcome)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (required)
• EMR: Epic (required)
• Experience: Must have STEMI & Stroke facility experience
• Skills: Dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response, central line care, IV vasopressors, ventilated patients, trauma (neuro, ortho, gunshot wounds, head injuries), procedural sedation, triage, behavioral health

Compliance: Mandatory EKG Exam: Pass/Fail required for all RNs (2 attempts allowed) COVID-19 & Flu Vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
