Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the shipment and routing of outbound freight
  • Research transportation methods and liaise with stakeholders
  • Handle escalated customer service issues
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to damages, shortages, and overages
  • Rotate through different departments as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training
  • Coordinate communications between various teams
  • Train third-party contractors on delivery procedures
  • Promote teamwork and exceptional customer service
  • Achieve daily productivity and quality goals

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of related work experience
  • Strong Mathematical skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Computer literate
  • Familiarity with AS400
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Basic English Language proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • Associate’s degree in related field
  • Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills
  • Mechanical aptitude to assemble furniture pieces
  • Understanding of training and communication resources
  • Awareness of loss prevention, security and safety guidelines
