Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing basic patient care under the delegation of a licensed practitioner
Perform administrative and clinical duties as directed
Meet basic patient care needs in accordance with established policies and regulations
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school with hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants
Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program
Completed two years of medical training in the U.S. Armed Forces
Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant including vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
Preferred Qualifications
6 months prior experience providing high-level customer service in a fast-paced environment
6 months previous experience in a healthcare setting working with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
