On-Call Requirements: Yes – 12 hours per 6-week scheduling period

Job Description

Join the Labor & Delivery team at Health Park Medical Center, a 19-bed high-acuity unit. This role requires a skilled RN with strong clinical experience and the ability to manage complex patient cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide care for laboring patients, including high-risk deliveries
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout labor and delivery
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Float to sister campuses as needed

Unit Details:

  • Ratios: 1–2:1
  • EMR: Epic
  • Scrub Color: Galaxy Blue and/or White

Culture & Expectations:

  • Travelers are welcomed and expected to function as core staff
  • All RTO and schedule requests must be submitted with the profile
  • Hard document deadline: Monday prior to start – no exceptions

Submission Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience – Required
  • Prior travel experience – Required
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications – Required
  • AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring – Required
  • AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring & EFM Certification – Preferred
  • Degree accreditation must be listed on profile or 5+ years of experience
