Join Kaiser as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, where you'll provide essential diagnostic services in a collaborative hospital setting. Your expertise will contribute to patient care and the efficient operation of the department, all while supporting a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedures including routine, emergent, portable, and surgical examinations
Communicate with Cardiologist
Assist patients and transport them as necessary
Conduct data entry, file work, and restock supplies
Participate in quality assurance functions and other duties as assigned
Be available for on-call or standby schedule as required
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of a minimum two-year AMA approved program
Certification in Ultrasound or ARDMS program
Registered Cardiac Sonographer Certificate (within 12 months of hire)
Sonography Technologist License (Oregon)
Basic Life Support certification (within 1 month of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with TEE, Stress Echo, and Pediatric Echosonography
