Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a Behavior Technician (TA) and make a difference in the lives of students needing specialized support. You'll work closely with teachers to create structured environments that foster student success and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Support students' self-care and social/behavioral needs in individual or small group settings
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance engagement and outcomes
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher or passing score on Paraeducator/Paraprofessional Assessment
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Prior experience working with children in a structured setting (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Experience in a school setting with children with special needs
