Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel Medical Lab Technician for a travel job in Paris, Illinois.
Position Title: Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
Location: Paris, IL
Assignment Length: 26 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week
Shift Information: Night Shift — Four 10-hour shifts per week (includes rotating weekends and holidays)
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Medical Director and/or Laboratory Manager, the Medical Lab Technician performs moderate to high-complexity laboratory testing. This role also involves problem-solving, teaching, systems control, and limited supervisory responsibilities. The MLT will collect arterial, venous, and capillary blood specimens, perform drug screen collections, basic point-of-care testing, and various clerical duties. Maintaining strong working relationships with patients, families, medical personnel, and inter/intradepartmental staff is essential.
