Position Details:
- Type of Setting: ICU, NICU, ER, Floor Therapy
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Adults, Geriatrics
- Most Common Disciplines: Adult Critical Care, Vent Management
- Top Diagnoses Treated:
Respiratory Failure, COPD, Asthma, Post-op CAB, Pneumonia, CHF, Sleep Apnea, ARDS, Prematurity, COVID-19 - Patient Load: 8–12 Patients (Q4H Rounding)
- Productivity Standard: 1 count ≈ 15 minutes
🛠️ Skills & Requirements:
- NICU Experience: Preferred
- NRP Certification: Required if traveler has NICU experience
- Mechanical Ventilation & Critical Care: Required
- Key Procedures/Skills:
Inhaled Medications, Noninvasive Ventilation, Arterial Puncture, iNO (Inhaled Nitric Oxide), Heliox - Applicable Medications:
LABA, LAMA, SABA, ICS, Surfactant
