Key Responsibilities
Ensure all facility equipment is efficiently functioning
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment
Perform basic welding activities
Troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s)
Perform and assign preventive maintenance
Follow blueprints and engineering specifications
Manage all equipment maintenance including repairs
Assume responsibility for safety within the maintenance department
Train and develop maintenance partners
Required Qualifications
High school diploma and/or GED preferred
Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Minimum of 3 years of work experience repairing industrial processing equipment
Knowledgeable in maintenance equipment including wiring, electrical, mechanical, electronic components
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with Hand & Power tools
Lockout / Tagout experience
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs
Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Two-year technical degree in an appropriate background
Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising maintenance personnel
Maintenance administration experience including planning, budgeting, and vendor management
