Job Description
Join Cooper University Health Care as a Patient Services Representative, where you will provide exceptional patient support and ensure smooth registration processes. Your role is vital in enhancing patient experiences and contributing to a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Greets patients and guests utilizing AIDET
Performs all registration functions including updating/validating demographics and insurance information
Makes appointments for patients efficiently
Collects co-pays and reconciles cash drawer
Performs non-clinical administrative duties including documentation and communication
Maintains working knowledge of regulatory standards
Adjusts to patient volume and multitasks in a fast-paced environment
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills
Customer service oriented attitude/behavior
Preferred Qualifications
Epic experience
Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills
