Job Description

Join Takeda as an Entry Level Phlebotomist and make a difference in patients' lives by collecting high-quality plasma. You will ensure donor safety and contribute to a supportive team environment, with flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and greet donors
  • Screen new and repeat donors, record vital signs and finger stick results
  • Use the Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate donor compensation
  • Identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
  • Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
  • Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role
