Key Responsibilities
Detecting, preventing, and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers
Maintaining surveillance from covert positions
Responding to alarms and interpreting tracks and physical evidence
Patrolling international boundaries and coastal waterways
Using government assets for USBP mission
Required Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship
Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years
Ability to pass FBI background check
Ability to speak and read Spanish
