Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate patient care with health team members
  • Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions
  • Administer medications and document appropriately
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of supplies
  • Transport patients as needed
  • Perform other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years’ experience preferred
  • Graduate from an accredited school
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain stationary, move and lift equipment (50-100 lbs), pushing, bending and pulling
  • Communication and collaboration with physicians and other health team members
  • Monitors patients’ responses to interventions and reports outcomes
  • Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluates patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
