Join Kaiser as a Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional providing vital mental health services to adults. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive care for members with diverse mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical treatment programs
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and maintain ongoing records
Collaborate with physicians in evaluating patients for psychotropic medications
May supervise Post Masters Fellows and other associate professionals
Utilize resources for member treatment and referral to external resources
Report safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California)
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of social service agencies and state regulations
Knowledge of Evidence-Based Practice and psychotherapy research methods
Competence in individual, family and group psychotherapy
Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
Preferred Qualifications
Previous post license experience in outpatient or inpatient psychiatric treatment
Experience in crisis intervention and individual/group psychotherapy
Demonstrated commitment to quality service and teamwork
Ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
