Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sale of contract maintenance programs for material handling equipment and catalog parts sales
  • Pursue new business and develop key existing accounts in an assigned territory
  • Analyze opportunities and develop business relationships through cold calls and presentations
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts
  • Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations
  • Prepare quotations and customer correspondence
  • Develop a territory management plan to maximize customer interactions
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls and activity information
  • Discuss sales activities with management

Required Qualifications

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High School diploma or equivalency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, or related business program
  • Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours
  • Several years of successful sales experience; B2B experience
  • Problem solving capabilities
  • Strong sense of urgency, responsibility, and self-motivation
  • Ability to work in a team environment
