Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging examinations ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images
Ensure accurate patient positioning during radiographic procedures
Implement radiation safety guidelines and conduct proper radiation protection practices
Understand and navigate the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and follow general radiology protocols
Conduct mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures
Required Qualifications
Completion of an educational program accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Working knowledge of diagnostic radiographic principles
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) if working in North Dakota
Registry eligible candidates obtaining ARRT within six months of hire in South Dakota
Permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public Health if working in Iowa
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification within the first eight weeks of hire at some clinic locations
Driver's license may be required, dependent upon department
