The Level III Labor and Delivery Unit at Hillcrest Hospital helps bring more than 4,800 newborns into the world every year. Additionally, this floor houses a high-risk antepartum area, featuring nine designated beds, a Cord Blood Center (CBC) and a birthing tub. As an RN, you will assist fellow caregivers in providing patients with exceptional care, from initial admission to discharge with baby. You will also benefit from education in comprehensive electronic fetal monitoring, breastfeeding support and Kangaroo Care alongside a dedicated team of Maternal-Fetal Physicians and Certified Nurse Midwives.
A caregiver in this position works rotating day/nights shifts from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. OR 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. + on-call with every other weekend and holiday requirements.
