Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing, providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for managing a diverse patient population, including surgical, telemetry, and progressive care patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical telemetry patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions.
• Administer medications, including insulin and cardiac drips, as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient management.
• Participate in hospital protocols for emergency situations, including Code 99 and Rapid Response.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in medical-surgical telemetry nursing.
• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips is required.
• Hold current certifications in AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS required prior to start).
• Epic experience from within the last 2 years is mandatory.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
