Join Optum as a Pharmacy Technician to support the mental health and specialty pharmacy operations. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to dispense prescriptions, provide customer service, and maintain inventory, making a significant impact in the lives of individuals seeking care.
Key Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
Fills prescription orders for verification under a Registered Pharmacist
Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records
Assists the Pharmacist to maintain compliance with regulations
Performs clerical duties related to the department
Communicates effectively with strong verbal and written skills
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in Minnesota
Access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
Ability to use interpreter services to assist pharmacy consumers
