Join The Jewish Board as a Case Assistant, where you will empower adults with serious mental illnesses to achieve independence through supportive care and advocacy. You'll work closely with residents to help them develop essential life skills in a compassionate environment that respects their unique journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Support residents in attaining independent living skills and individual goals
Assist residents with daily living activities
Advocate on behalf of residents with service providers
Document resident interactions and file incident reports
Participate in staff meetings and trainings
Required Qualifications
High school degree or HSE
Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or trauma
Preferred Qualifications
Two years of experience in a Human Services or Community Mental Health setting
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite of products
