Submission Requirements : DE or Compact License in hand, RN License# and exp date, , List of certs with exp dates ALL RTO (Any request after initial submission will not be considered or approved).

Unit: Post Anesthesia - Rotating shifts, typical start times are 0530, 0630, 0900, and 1100. Potential for occasional rotation to midnight shift, with a start time of 1830

One weekend per 4-week schedule period

On-call is in four-hour blocks and caregivers are assigned to 1-2 blocks per 4-week schedule period, on weekends only. "

Description :
This dynamic perianesthesia unit includes Prep & Hold (22 bays) and PACU Phase I & II (40 bays), caring for patients before and after anesthesia across multiple surgical specialties.
Patient Populations: General Surgery, Neuro, Spine, Orthopedic, GYN, Urology, Cardiac, Renal Transplant, Colorectal, Plastic, OMFS, ENT, Breast Procedures, and more.



Assignments & Scheduling : Nurses are assigned and onboarded to specific phases of care (P&H, PACU Phase I or II) based on prior experience.
Shifts assigned per unit needs
Weekend requirement: up to 1 weekend per 4-week schedule
Call requirement: 4 hours every other schedule Ideal Candidate:
Experienced PACU RN with strong assessment and airway management skills.
Must thrive in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.



Common Skills & Responsibilities :
Pre-op assessments and patient preparation
Immediate post-anesthesia recovery and monitoring
Airway management and hemodynamic stabilization
Pain management and patient/family education
Collaboration with anesthesiology, surgery, and support staff
Use of advanced monitoring equipment
EMR documentation.
