Key Responsibilities
Manage construction project management and oversight of construction activities
Interface with construction general contractors during bidding, award, and execution phases
Create construction project scope and request for proposals
Conduct financial analysis of construction
Perform constructability reviews of electrical and mechanical designs
Manage construction document including submittal review and change orders
Record and report key construction metrics
Drive troubleshooting and root-cause failure analysis
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent OR 4+ years of related construction management experience
5+ years of experience in construction management of large, complex projects
4+ years of general contractor and vendor management experience
4+ years of experience constructing electrical engineering systems and mechanical engineering systems
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of electrical engineering principles including switch gear, UPS, transformers, and circuit breakers
Experience in design or construction of data centers or large scale mechanical and electrical plants
Proven ability to reduce costs through creative solutions without impacting quality
Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, and OSHA
Experience with power management and power monitoring systems
