As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential therapy to school-aged children, helping them develop fine motor and sensory integration skills. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and tailored interventions based on individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children
Plan, implement, and evaluate students for fine motor and sensory integration skills
Evaluate occupational roles and performance of students with impairments
Provide interventions based on student deficits
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
Required Qualifications
Masters or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
Current Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy in Oregon
Preferred Qualifications
Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines
Ability to work under pressure
Knowledge of therapy skills as defined by accepted standards of practice
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
