Job Description

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you will provide essential therapy to school-aged children, helping them develop fine motor and sensory integration skills. This role involves collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and tailored interventions based on individual student needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate students for fine motor and sensory integration skills
  • Evaluate occupational roles and performance of students with impairments
  • Provide interventions based on student deficits
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team

Required Qualifications

  • Masters or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Current Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy in Oregon

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of therapy skills as defined by accepted standards of practice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
