Shift: Monday – Friday, 8a – 5p with one hour for lunch

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40

No weekends

Monday, July 21st – virtual HCSS orientation, Wednesday, July 23rd, In-patient Epic for Therapist training

Education Required: Master’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.

License/Cert Required: Currently licensed in the State of Texas.

Experience: Minimum three years’ experience, Acute experience in a Level 1 Trauma center preferred.

Job Description: Directs the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of occupational therapy intervention provided to patients. Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of occupational therapy meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.
