Job Description
Join Staples as a Business Development Representative and drive revenue through innovative partnerships with public sector and commercial clients. This remote role focuses on building territories, utilizing your sales expertise, and making a significant impact on business growth in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Drive new revenue from new customers in public sector and commercial market
Build territory strategy and analyze performance
Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential
Schedule appointments and present Quill solutions
Utilize marketing collateral for engaging presentations
Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
Create custom pricing solutions for high growth customers
Ensure smooth transition to account management team
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas
Maintain accurate records in CRM
Seek constant improvement and apply coaching
Positively impact company culture and team environment
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
5+ years sales experience
6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
Required travel within territory (approximately 50%)
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
Proven business development experience
