Travel Pharmacist
Location: Tucson, AZ Start Date: November 17, 2025 Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights – 8:00 PM to 7:30 AM Schedule: Beginning December 26, rotation of 7 shifts on / 7 shifts offA facility in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages, employees, and designated hospital areas.
Responsibilities include:
Collaboration with physicians on drug selection and dosing
Education of nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications
Support of Medication Safety initiatives
Review of patient profiles and avoidance/reporting of adverse drug reactions
Preparation of IV admixtures and nutritional supplements
Narcotic control and accountability
Requirements:
Active Pharmacist license
Minimum of 3+ years of hospital experience in a high-acuity acute care setting
Experience with NICU and cardiac cases (including Impella and ECMO)
Familiarity with all applicable state/federal and DEA laws, TJC standards, and hospital policies
Contract Details:
13-week assignment
8 PM – 7:30 AM shift
Rotating 7 on / 7 off schedule starting December 26
