Travel RN Job Details

Estimated Weekly Pay

  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1880 - $2020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Washington State or compact eligible
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience required
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tube management, lumbar drains, tracheostomy care, and IV medication titration
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
  • First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU and float pool patients, including ED Holding and Medical/Surgical units
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage chest tubes and lumbar drains, and titrate IV medications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists
  • Educate patients and families, ensuring clear communication and compassionate support
  • Accurately document care using EPIC EMR and adhere to hospital protocols
  • Participate in hourly rounding, bedside reporting, and maintain updated white boards
  • Float to various units within your scope of practice as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate strong teamwork in a fast-paced clinical environment
