Job Description

Join DMC Detroit Receiving Hospital as a Radiologic Technologist, where you will perform essential diagnostic exams in a leading trauma center. With a focus on patient care and quality improvement, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality imaging services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic radiological exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
Verify patient identity and review patient's medical record
Interview patients to obtain, verify, or update medical history
Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images
Review images and communicate data to radiologist
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies
Provide post-care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Take call/standby as required

Required Qualifications

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
