Employment Type: 13 week Contract
Our client is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to join its team at Mount Hood, a 115-bed acute care hospital. This role requires strong clinical expertise in LDRP care and the flexibility to float across Legacy facilities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care in a Level I Nursery and LDRP setting
- Circulate for C-sections and manage postpartum care
- Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2
- Float within scope across all sites as required
- Document care using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications:
- Active Oregon RN license or proof of application/fingerprints at submission
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- BLS and NRP certifications
- Experience in Level I Nursery, LDRP, C-section circulation, and postpartum care
Additional Information:
- First-time travelers accepted
- Must be available to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
- Weekend shifts required (up to every other weekend)
- No on-call requirement
- Locals not accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from any Legacy facility)
- RTO: Maximum 7 days per assignment; no RTO allowed during first week
- Scrub color: Any except black or camo (L&D scrubs provided)
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
- Low census policy: One mandatory cancellation per two-week pay period allowed
- Travelers must complete assigned education within one week of assignment
